not bad...although when i have it plugged into my car charger and in my tape player...there is intermittent though extremely annoying background noise...happens mostly in the mornings..and on wet days....but sometimes on dry days also........dont know why its there...

This looked like the perfect solution for using my G1 as a music player in my car. Problem is when you plug it in, it causes the music player to skip through songs. Not sure if this works better for other HTC phones, but if you're looking to get it for your G1, keep looking.

I am not sure what the other reviewer is talking about. I ordered this for my G1 so I could charge, talk on the headphones, and plug into my cassette adapter.
When I plugged in the headphones, the music app on the G1 went crazy. It played over the internet radio app I was using and played the first 10 seconds or so of all the mp3s on the handset in order. Really annoying. I am returning it.

Though not specifically advertised for the Android G1, this adapter works perfectly on that phone and allows Charging, normal headset use at the same time, or just headset use in general.
