doesn't work in Motorola SLVR Oct 08, 2009
I bought it to use with my motorola SVLR (L7) for a hard wired phone headset ... it doesn't work at all.... just short circuits the thing!!! Don't even bother trying it

When I insert the jack my Razr is dead As soon as I unplug the jack from this extension the phone works again.

after a long search for a mini USB to 2.5mm adapter, I was sure this would work in my application. Unfortunately the item shipped had a jack for a 3.5mm which is what you could use for an IPOD but not a hands free ear device for a cell phone. The item was purchased for .96c but shipping was $4.oo and I could not see spending any more on this. I ended up going to Radio Shack and found what I needed, a mini USB to 2.5mm adapter for about $10.00 bucks. I guess I can use it for and mp3 headset to listen to music from my vcast phone.
