 exactly what i was looking for! Oct 14, 2009
I have an aux jack in my car so I wanted to find a way to use that aux jack for handsfree communiction. I already had an aux cable to listen to the music on my G1 through my car stereo but for some reason the way the G1 work, whenever I have my all-in-one adapter and aux cble hooked to it, the internal mic did not function. My assumption was because with the adapter plugged in it thought there was a headset plugged in and disabled the internal mic. So I knew I need an aux cable with an inline mic but I could not seem to find such a thing. I even tried making my own with an aux cable and the included G1 headset but those tiny wire are very hard to solder. I finally stumbled onto this one by accident looking for some other accessories and bought it imediatlely. It was even better than what I was looking for. Since I was made for the G1, it eliminated the need for the adapter. It works just like it should and even allows you to stop and start the music and calls with the button on the mic just like the G1 headset. Quality it good as well. Now I'm just working on a way of running it through the car instead of having it tangled up in the glove box.

When I first got the product, the hardware part was a little broken. Not physically broken, though. I just couldn't adjust the volume while speaking with the headset. However I send my inquiry to the seller(without sending the product back) and they sent a brand new product as replacement. That's a great service!
The Audio Converter itself works as it should, the microphone is also ok. It wouldn't be the ultimate product if you are looking for a remote control microphone, etc. But for daily uses this product gets it done!

I like the fact that while you're listening to music, if you push Talk to take or make a call the music is automatically paused, then when you hang up the music resumes where it left off.
The only thing I wish this device also had is a USB charging port. If you want to play music and charge the phone at the same time you'll have to buy a separate dongle for that.

Works good i use it when i'm driving and put the audio through my car stereo for music and calls also works great for use with my headphones when on break at work the extra cord length is a little annoying at time's but i moved the clip near the microphone and it seemed to help[ all in all well worth the price and when my girlfriend gets a G1 ill be buying it for her too
